“The design is an imaginative reinterpretation of the Chinese mythical story of the Goddess Nüwa, guardian of heaven and earth using a magical stone to patch a hole in the sky. The brass-plated steel on top is the main switch which deliberately downplays the control switch to make it overall more sculpture like. The main material, marble was chosen not only for aesthetic but also functional. While the heavy weight of the marble is able to keep the air pump inside the diffuser from vibrating, the unique pattern is as beautiful as the myth itself.”
